It is hoped that there will be greater involvement of the private sector in this issue, because we have ambitions to make some progress on that. I also know from the work that has been undertaken by Commissioner Lamy in relation to the provision of drugs to developing countries that this is an issue that is being discussed in the context of the Doha Round. He has expectations that there will be progress on this issue because it was one of the undertakings that was given in Doha at the commencement of the discussions. The expectation is that developing countries will insist on some progress before there is any finality. I expect and hope there will be some outcome on this before Cancun."@en1
