"Mr President, on a point of order, yesterday in order to come to Strasbourg I left my home at 6 a.m., flew to Dublin, flew to London, flew to Paris and flew to Strasbourg, arriving at 6 p.m.
My point is that Air France has cancelled direct flights from Britain to Strasbourg which means that it is now enormously difficult for Members from Britain or Ireland to come here unless they take the whole day to do so. I could go to America and back in the same time! For that reason the time has come for this Parliament to consider whether or not it can recreate direct access to Strasbourg. If not, then it will have to relocate to a place where it can do so and be more efficient."@en1
