"Mr President, my question relates to the heading of the Rule 50 resolution on Burma which is 'Myanmar'. I would like to ask why and how the services of this Parliament have now decided to call Burma 'Myanmar'. That is the term used by the military regime in that country, not that used by Aung San Suu Kyi, our Sakharov Prize winner, and it is never used by the President of this Parliament. That was certainly the case yesterday. I ask that it be corrected and that we return to calling the country Burma, which is its proper name."@en1
