"A disciplinary procedure relating to Mrs Marta Andreasen was opened on 2 July 2002. Mrs Andreasen was suspended from duty by a Commission decision of 28 August 2002. The Commission has recently received a report from the Hearing Officer who was appointed, through the proper procedures, to give consideration to all relevant information in Mrs Andreasen's case. Having now received that report, the Commission, as the appointing authority, will reflect on the appropriate steps to be taken in this procedure. In particular, the appointing authority will have to decide whether to refer the case to a disciplinary board. During the last four years there has been one other case in which an official was suspended from duty on full pay for more than six months."@en1
