"Mr President, on the basis of the observations which the Commissioner has just made, I should like to know what the rapporteur’s position is, because it is rather important. I believe that the Commissioner is wrong. As soon as we in this Parliament object, those objections have to be taken into consideration. Otherwise we should be denied the power to object, which I could quite understand. However, the idea that we can object but that our objections can be ignored seems to me to be a serious matter. I should like to know what the rapporteur’s attitude is, and whether or not he intends to ask for a referral to committee."@en1
