lpv:spoken text	". – May I begin by thanking the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development, and in particular its rapporteur, Mrs Auroi, for the positive approach adopted towards the Commission proposal. This proposal consists of only one amendment added to the last item of the relevant Article of ten Directives on the marketing of seeds and propagating material. The aim of the proposal is simple – to create a clear legal basis for financing Community comparative trials. This initiative is in line with the European Parliament proposal to increase the transparency of the Commission budget."@en1
