I apologise for his absence. The Commissioner has solidly justified the expenditure in relation to the Berlaymont. I presume he has answered many of the questions the public in general have been asking, but I am not sure if those answers will be to their satisfaction. However, we must accept as credible the explanation given by the Commission, which I certainly do. Could he explain why it has taken so long to complete the building? In addition, the public in general is anxious to know how the original cost compares to the final cost?"@en1
