As you know, the session was postponed to 10-12 May 2002 because of the terrorist attacks in the United States on 11 September 2001. I would also point out that the final outcome of the special session is now available on UNICEF’s home page. I am pleased to be able to inform Parliament that the action plan adopted at the session does in fact contain a section on the family, proposed by the European Union.
