"As the author is not present, Question No 5 lapses.
Question No 6 by Francisca Sauquillo PĂ©rez del Arco ():
In view of the explosion, in the developing countries, of diseases such as malaria, AIDS and tuberculosis, and given that many less-developed countries find it impossible to secure access to essential drugs (despite the outcome of the WTO meeting), is the Council intending to promote the action plan which has been devised as a means of providing access to medicines designed to combat malaria, tuberculosis and AIDS?
If so, what steps have been or are to be taken with a view to promoting that plan? What is the current state of the Fund which is intended as a means of financing campaigns to combat the above diseases?"@en1
