"Last night, I attended the coordinators’ meeting of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs. It is unfortunate that the chair, Mrs Randzio-Plath, is not here today. Otherwise, I am certain that she would have told you that the meeting of coordinators last night decided to advise against urgent procedure. The reason for that is that the Council would like to decide on this matter before 1 July, which leaves us plenty of time, even if we do not decide on urgent procedure today. It can be discussed reasonably quickly, but there is no need at all for urgent procedure. It is, indeed, correct that the legal basis still causes some difficulty, but we can discuss this in due course. The Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs therefore advises against urgent procedure."@en1
