". The UK Conservative Delegation vote today reflected our considerable reservations about this report, and not just because of its mentions of the importance of tax co-ordination and the wonders of the single currency. One central task facing Member States is the full implementation of the Lisbon Council conclusions in terms of stimulating employment, essentially by boosting the competitiveness of their economies, their companies and their people. We strongly believe in social inclusion. Despite acceptance of some of our amendments, in our view this report implies that social inclusion generates full employment. We believe it is the other way round."@en1
