The World Anti-doping Agency was created precisely to answer such questions. This is the body that has the task of drawing up the list of substances that should be banned and the body which governments and sporting bodies must then deal with. Another point is research. The Commissioner responsible, Philippe Busquin, and I have decided to open up European research and to put it at the service of the fight against doping, because we know that the inventors of new chemical formulae are often steps ahead of us.
