".
The Danish Social Democrats in the European Parliament have today voted in favour of the European Parliament’s amendment to the Council proposal for a regulation on specific arrangements placing restrictions upon certain persons and groups with a view to combating international terrorism. We agree that the EU must combat international terrorism in all areas. Nonetheless, we have general reservations about the proposal and, for example, reject the list of 27 terrorist organisations. These organisations all appear to be Muslim, which may be construed as discrimination when there are also non-Muslim terrorist organisations. These organisations ought, in the nature of the matter, to be included in the list, which cannot therefore be regarded as complete. Moreover, we have reservations as to whether such a list can in practice be used at all."@en1
