"Madam President, Mr Fatuzzo rightly referred to the risks of ozone to older people, but I would like to speak of young people. For it is young people who are the main victims. In fact, as you are well aware, if we do nothing about the greenhouse effect and the hole in the ozone layer it is the young, the new generations, who will be most at risk. So I too welcome this directive and I hope that young Europeans will indeed derive real benefit from it. That, at least, is what we hope and what we wanted to express through our vote."@en1
