"Mr President, I was the only person to vote against the Langenhagen report, which regulates approves the Agreement on fisheries with Greenland. Why did I vote against the motion, Mr President? I voted against the motion because the Pensioners' Party does not approve of the fact that the States of the European Union go and fish other waters. We should let every State catch its own fish! I do not agree with the system whereby we pay in order to receive authorisation to fish the waters of other States. This is not just because, as is well-known, I uphold the rights of fish and I have a good relationship with fish from all over the world, but, indeed, because I feel that the European Union should change its policy on fishing in the territories and seas of others."@en1
