"Mr President, the conclusions of the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs on page 21 of Mr Perry's report, which also deals with the White Paper on the use of electronic equipment, tell us that it “... would be ... appreciated if employers showed greater willingness to take on older employees” who, throughout their lives, have acquired the new skills that the modern world offers us every day. Clearly, I support this conclusion. I fervently hope that this report will mean that elderly people who have studied and improved their skills will be able to find employment more easily."@en1
