My friend Mr Poos and I voted against almost all the amendments that were tabled by the parliamentary committee and by other Members, because we believed that the first common position was very fair and well balanced. I am pleased to see, however, that, after the battle over the amendments and all the pressure from various groups, the common position has hardly been changed.
