"Mr President, the Theorin and Smet reports were debated late yesterday evening, and the intention was that we should vote on them now. The Group of the European People's Party and European Democrats has presented to me the same request that I have just expressed, that is, that we postpone the vote on these reports until the November II part-session and not vote on them this evening. The majority of the women will be travelling to a conference of Members of Parliament in Berlin. It is therefore a joint request from the Group of the European People's Party and European Democrats and the Group of the Party of European Socialists to postpone the vote until November II."@en1
