This really is a serious issue in the very short term, and it concerns all of us, both because we all breathe the same air, and because of the storms, excessive rainfall and water shortages affecting every continent to a varying degree. The developed countries doing the polluting and the less developed or underdeveloped countries about to do so must be made aware of the situation. So anything that can raise public awareness is useful and a step in the right direction. That is why our resolution is important, and I have voted for it."@en1
