"Mr President, you have just said that we will be starting at half past eleven tomorrow. That is a most unpleasant surprise because many of us have flights which we can only just make with the earlier voting time, the standard voting time here in the House. It is a huge problem, it is immensely difficult to find seats on other flights in the evening or even on the following day. I should therefore like to request that we either keep to a standard voting time or, if not, that we be given more notice.
