"Madam President, I agree wholeheartedly with Mr Barón Crespo’s last-but-one speech on Tunisia. Furthermore, I am delighted to see that the Socialist Group has finally decided to adopt a rather more forthright position on Tunisia, a position that, moreover, goes far beyond the complex situation of Mr Ben Brik. Nevertheless, Madam President, I did not understand your speech. As you are proposing to write to the Tunisian authorities, an action I fully support, I feel that you should do so in order to state Parliament’s position on the matter. I therefore fail to see why you should append the position of one particular group to the letter."@en1
