The Italian says "not to imprison child abusers", which seems absurd to me, whereas the French reads: “not to imprison young people who commit offences” which, I think, must be the original meaning. This a serious translation error. I feel sure that the Italian is a mistranslation. The original version probably said “not to imprison young people who commit offences, except in special cases”.
