lpv:spoken text	"In New York about ten days ago I had an extremely good meeting, together with the Presidency and the Portuguese Foreign Minister; with the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation under their splendid Chairman, the Sri Lankan Foreign Minister, who happens, incidentally to have been at my college. He has done a terrific job in revitalising that organisation. We are involved in trying to support it, not least administratively, as it tries to develop free trade agreements in the region. I accept what the Member said. There is an important role to play in helping to sustain those regional relationships. After all, we do have a certain experience in the importance of regional arrangements to demonstrate here in Europe."@en1
